I thought I'd get a couple of pictures up (finally!) from Labor Day weekend, which I spent with friends down near Ensenada, Mexico. It was a fun and relaxing weekend, just as it is every time, but it was made more special because it was Nancy's birthday! I brought her a small individual cake (which she enjoyed taking a bite of!), and I made cupcakes for everyone else. We thought a beach theme would be fun, so I went for a bright blue cream cheese frosting on top of banana/walnut cupcakes. The toppers were seashells molded from white and milk chocolate.
